Reports from Nicolo Schira indicate that Napoli's striker, Romelu Lukaku, has declined numerous proposals from Saudi Arabian clubs and Major League Soccer (MLS) in his desire to continue his career within Europe.
The Belgian international is "100%" certain to depart Napoli in the near future. He joined the Neapolitan club in August 2024 for an estimated €30 million from Chelsea. Prior to this transfer, Lukaku experienced a dip in form at the London club and had two loan spells in Italy's Serie A, first with his former team Inter Milan and then with Roma.
Napoli's confirmation that Lukaku has not joined their pre-season training camp strongly suggests that the club is moving forward without him.
He participated in six World Cup matches for Belgium, scoring three goals and providing one assist before their quarter-final exit after a 2-1 loss to Spain.
