Alex Pereira Confirmed for UFC 335 Bout
Alex Pereira, a former two-division UFC champion, will return to the Octagon at UFC 335 on December 12. The promotion officially announced Pereira's next fight during the UFC 332 main card broadcast.
The bout between Pereira and Sergei Pavlovich will serve as the co-main event for UFC 335 and is scheduled for five rounds.
Pereira (13-4 MMA) last fought in June at UFC Freedom 250, where he lost via second-round TKO to Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title. Before that, 'Poatan' secured a first-round TKO victory against Magomed Ankalaev, reclaiming the light heavyweight championship. He later vacated the title to compete in the heavyweight division.
Sergei Pavlovich (21-3 MMA), meanwhile, enters the fight on a three-bout winning streak. His latest win was a first-round knockout of Tallison Teixeira in May at UFC Macau. The 34-year-old fighter holds an 8-2 record in his last ten Octagon appearances.
