Juventus Director Massara Confident in Coach Spalletti
Juventus sporting director Ricky Massara has affirmed the club's complete trust in coach Luciano Spalletti, despite recent fan concerns following a 3-2 loss to Sassuolo. Spalletti himself stated earlier this week that he remains unaffected by external pressure.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League tie against NEC Nijmegen, Massara emphasized the club's belief in Spalletti's capabilities. "All of us who wear the Juventus uniform have a duty not to downplay even a single dropped point, but we must conduct calm analysis," Massara told Sky via Sportmediaset. "This analysis begins with one certainty: that the team is in excellent hands and that the club has complete faith in the coach’s abilities and in the team itself."
He added, "We trust that with hard work this growth process can happen quickly."
Massara also touched upon the transfer window, expressing satisfaction with the new signings despite UEFA restrictions. "Many interesting things were done during the transfer window, always within the limits imposed by UEFA, but we’re satisfied with what we’ve achieved," he said. "We know we’ve made a lot of changes; there are eight new players on the pitch tonight. Juventus is seventh in terms of playing time for new players, and this must lead us to be patient in building something that can be profitable."
A victory against NEC today could provide a crucial boost for Juventus, helping to stabilize the situation and reinforce Spalletti's position.
