Bologna Dismisses Domenico Tedesco, Raffaele Palladino Identified as Successor
Bologna, a Serie A club, is set to dismiss its manager Domenico Tedesco. This move comes after only four matches into the current campaign, making them the second team in Italy's top division to part ways with their coach this season.
The team, known as the Rossoblu, has not secured a victory this season, earning just one point so far.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, an evaluation process has led to the decision to sack the Belgian coach. Tedesco had taken over from Vincenzo Italiano this summer.
Bologna aims to have a new manager in place for their upcoming match. Contact has been established with Raffaele Palladino, and a contract is reportedly prepared for the Italian coach.
Club management met with Tedesco today, voicing concerns about recent performance. Tedesco accepted responsibility, acknowledging his difficulties in finding solutions.
This meeting prompted Bologna to finalize their decision, with Palladino now expected to assume the managerial role.
While other names like Stefano Pioli, Igor Tudor, and Roberto D’Aversa were considered, Palladino is currently viewed as the most attractive option.
