The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to deliver an electrifying event in Las Vegas, Nevada, headlined by a pivotal featherweight clash. Former UFC bantamweight champion and current No. 5 contender Aljamain Sterling will face off against No. 7 ranked Youssef Zalal. The co-main event promises another compelling matchup as No. 3 ranked bantamweight Norma Dumont meets No. 11 contender Joselyne Edwards.

This highly anticipated UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs. Zalal event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, live from Las Vegas, Nevada. Preliminary fights are set to begin at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET, with the main card kicking off at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action streaming live on Paramount+.

Main Event Spotlight: Sterling vs. Zalal

Aljamain Sterling (25-5), representing Uniondale, N.Y., is poised to make a significant statement in his 2026 season debut. "Funk Master," a former UFC bantamweight champion, boasts an impressive record with victories over elite fighters like Henry Cejudo, T.J. Dillashaw, and Brian Ortega. Youssef Zalal (18-5-1), hailing from Casablanca, Morocco via Englewood, Colo., enters the octagon with intentions of a dominant performance. Zalal has solidified his ranking with notable victories over formidable opponents including Josh Emmett, Calvin Kattar, and Jack Shore. His focus is now squarely on Sterling, as he seeks to achieve the most significant win of his career by overcoming a former champion.

Co-Main Event: Dumont vs. Edwards

Norma Dumont (13-2), fighting out of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, is eager to deliver a show-stopping performance upon her return. This Brazilian standout has built a strong reputation across two weight classes, securing impressive wins against top-tier competitors such as former champion Germaine de Randamie, Irene Aldana, and Ketlen Vieira. Her objective is to further cement her position among the bantamweight elite by defeating the challenging contender, Edwards.

Joselyne Edwards (17-6), representing Panama City, Panama, is determined to extend her impressive winning streak to five consecutive victories. Having joined the UFC at 26, Edwards has evolved into a seasoned and formidable competitor, known for her finishes against Nora Cornolle, Priscila Cachoeira, and Chelsea Chandler.   • Heavyweight action is guaranteed as Allen Frye Jr. (6-1) of Wilmington, N.C., takes on Max Gimenis (6-2) from Gaithersburg, Maryland.
  • The bantamweight division will also feature an exciting clash between Davey Grant (17-8) from England and Dana White’s Contender Series contract winner Adrian Luna Martinetti (17-1) from Ecuador.
  • Rounding out the card, a middleweight bout pits Jackson McVey (6-2) from St. Charles, Mo., against Dana White’s Contender Series signee Sedriques Dumas (10-4 1 NC) from Pensacola, Fla.
