UFC 334: Gane vs. Hokit Headlines Return to Madison Square Garden with Doubleheader

UFC is back at Madison Square Garden in New York City, presenting a fight card topped by two championship bouts. In the main event, the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane defends his title for the first time against No. 4 ranked contender Josh Hokit. The co-main event showcases what could be an all-time great women’s title fight: reigning bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison faces former champion Amanda Nunes.

The event, POLYMARKET UFC 334: GANE vs. HOKIT, is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at Madison Square Garden. The main card begins at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Paramount+. Prelims start at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, with early prelims kicking off at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on Paramount+ and UFC Fight Pass.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. ET via ticketmaster.com, with a limit of eight per person. UFC Fight Club members can purchase tickets starting Wednesday, September 23, at 10 a.m. ET through UFCFightClub.com. Gane (14-2 1NC, fighting out of Paris, France) aims for a memorable first title defense. Since his debut over seven years ago, Gane has demonstrated top-tier skills in wins against Alex Pereira, Serghei Spivac, and Tai Tuivasa. He now seeks to start his reign by defeating Hokit.

Hokit (10-0, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) enters his first main event with aspirations of winning UFC gold. Signed to the UFC about a year ago via Dana White’s Contender Series, he has quickly climbed the rankings with impressive finishes over Derrick Lewis, Curtis Blaydes, and Denzel Freeman. Hokit aims for one of the fastest title runs in UFC history by beating Gane.

UFC bantamweight champion Harrison (19-1, fighting out of Coconut Creek, Fla.) returns to the Octagon seeking a dominant performance. A two-time Olympic judo gold medalist, Harrison is regarded as one of the most accomplished female mixed martial artists, with victories over Julianna Pena, Ketlen Vieira, and Holly Holm. She now pursues her biggest career achievement by facing Nunes.

Nunes (23-5, fighting out of Miami, Fla.) returns to competition looking to reaffirm her status as the greatest of all time. As the only woman to have held and defended multiple UFC titles simultaneously, she holds over 15 UFC records. These include the most knockouts in women's UFC history (7), the longest women’s UFC win streak (12), and the longest combined UFC title reign (3,940 days). Nunes intends to prove she remains at the division’s pinnacle.
