Hendrik Almstadt Appointed Director of Player Trading
Hendrik Almstadt, who has served as an executive assistant at the club since 2019, will now lead the club’s player trading operations and oversee transfer market activities. Almstadt previously held a directorial role at Aston Villa during the 2015/16 season and spent five years as an executive assistant at Arsenal.
Bobby Gardiner Takes Charge as Director of Football Intelligence
Bobby Gardiner, who joined Milan in 2019, has been named the new Director of Football Intelligence. A former analytics-focused football writer, Gardiner is recognized as a significant contributor to Milan’s successful rebuild that led to their Serie A title in the 2021/22 season. He transitions into this role from Head of Performance Analytics.
Donato Lomonte Elevated to Head of Scouting
Donato Lomonte, a scout for the club from 2017 to 2024, has been promoted to Head of Scouting. Lomonte’s prior experience includes roles as a technical coach at Ternana Calcio and manager at Polisportiva Gaeta 1931.

Gerry Cardinale is set to adopt a more involved approach in the club’s operations. Massimo Calvelli has been confirmed as Milan’s new Chief Executive Officer.
