Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is making its groundbreaking debut in Massachusetts, with the historic Fenway Park set to host its first-ever event, BKFC 92, on Saturday, August 29. This marks a significant moment as it will be the first officially sanctioned bare-knuckle fighting event to take place in the Commonwealth.
The electrifying night of fights will unfold directly on the renowned Fenway Park field. The main event will showcase BKFC Featherweight World Champion and pound-for-pound contender Kai Stewart (9-0) from Great Falls, Montana, as he makes his record-breaking sixth defense of his world title. His opponent will be the formidable New England combat sports star Harry Gigliotti (6-0, 5 KOs) from Haverhill, MA.
Tickets for BKFC-92 will be available to the public starting Thursday, June 25, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through Redsox.com/BKFC. Mastercard is the preferred payment method for Evergreen Fenway Events.
Brett Miller, Senior Director of Special Events for Evergreen Fenway Events, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are excited to welcome Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship to Fenway Park for its Massachusetts debut. Fenway Park has a rich history of hosting unique sporting and entertainment events, and this event will undoubtedly add another memorable chapter to that tradition. We eagerly anticipate welcoming fans for what promises to be a truly electrifying night at the ballpark.”
David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC, shared his excitement: “We are beyond thrilled to announce this unprecedented event at Fenway Park on Saturday, August 29. The collaboration with the Fenway Park team has been outstanding, and this event is a must-see on the national combat sports calendar. Kai Stewart is one of the most skilled bare-knuckle fighters globally, and his reign as our featherweight world champion has been exceptional, with victories over top contenders worldwide. However, facing Harry Gigliotti, a Boston sports icon who has been on an impressive winning streak for the past three years, in the historic setting of Fenway Park presents Stewart with perhaps the toughest challenge of his career.”
Fighter Profiles
Kai Stewart, a 26-year-old rising star, first gained recognition with BKFC through their national tryouts for bare-knuckle fighters. He is coming off a dominant victory against the previously undefeated European Champion Nico Gaffie on March 20, 2026, at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL, thrilling a sold-out crowd. Stewart’s impressive world title wins include victories over top contenders such as Tommy Strydom (BKFC-72), Jimmy Rivera, Bryan Duran (BKFC-62), and Howard Davis (BKFC-56).
Harry Gigliotti, 31, boasts a professional boxing record of 9-5 before embarking on a spectacular, undefeated streak in bare-knuckle fighting starting in December 2023. He made a highly anticipated BKFC debut on March 28, 2026, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, where he delivered a show-stopping second-round knockout victory over veteran Timothy Mason in front of a massive local following.
Further details regarding additional fights and the full lineup for this world-class bare-knuckle fighting event will be released in the coming weeks. The event is contingent upon final licensing approval from the City of Boston.
