Ljubljana, Slovenia – June 6, 2026: BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) returned to Slovenia for its seventh event in the country, staging BRAVE CF 106 in collaboration with World Freefight Challenge at the renowned Hala Tivoli. The evening was packed with exciting mixed martial arts action, featuring two world championship bouts that captivated fans both live and globally.

In the highly anticipated main event, Pavel Dailidko successfully retained his BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship, delivering a decisive victory over Slovenia’s own Miha Frlic. Dailidko weathered an initial offensive from Frlic before finding his rhythm. A precisely landed right hand sent Frlic to the canvas, and Dailidko swiftly followed up with ground strikes. The referee intervened just over a minute into the first round, securing Dailidko’s emphatic title defense.

The co-main event saw Mohamed Said Maalem claim the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Championship from Erko Jun in a compelling rematch. After an aggressive start from Jun, Maalem gradually took control. By the third round, Maalem’s wrestling advantage became evident, disrupting Jun’s offense. In the fourth round, Maalem landed a significant blow that dazed Jun, leading to a ground-and-pound finish and Maalem’s championship victory.

In a significant upset, Russia’s Marina Merchuk defeated the highly-ranked Slovenian contender Monika Kučinič. The fight was a close striking battle, with Merchuk’s counter-striking proving to be the deciding factor in a split decision win.

Lasha Abramishvili continued his undefeated streak in BRAVE CF with a dominant performance against Brice Picaud, securing a unanimous decision victory through his strong wrestling game. The main card also featured a heated catchweight rematch where Amil Tutić narrowly defeated David Forster via unanimous decision.
