Fikayo Tomori Hesitates Over Coventry City Transfer, Milan Receives Initial Bid

AC Milan is reportedly ready to let go of their defender, Fikayo Tomori, but the player himself is not yet convinced about a move to Coventry City.

According to Get Italian Football News, Frank Lampard's club has shown interest in the English defender and has already made an initial offer to sign him. Milan has placed Tomori, whose contract is valid until the summer of 2027, on the transfer list.

Reports indicate that the arrival of Mario Gila is pushing Tomori further down the pecking order and away from Ruben Amorim's plans. Negotiations for a contract extension had already stalled, making an exit a strong possibility for the centre-back.

Despite Coventry City's proactive approach, Tomori is said to be experiencing reservations about the transfer and is carefully considering the pros and cons of the potential deal. His current market value is estimated at €15 million, with other English clubs also expressing interest.

Coventry City's Patience

Fikayo Tomori's transfer situation remains fluid, and while Coventry City has emerged as the most eager suitor, no other clubs have shown comparable levels of interest. This suggests that the Sky Blues should remain vigilant and monitor the situation closely as it develops. Frank Lampard's involvement could be a significant factor, particularly if other interested teams fail to formalize their approaches.
