Bernardo Silva has announced his intention to leave Manchester City following the conclusion of the current season. Juventus are now reportedly making swift efforts to secure his signature ahead of other interested clubs.
According to Get Italian Football News, Juventus’ pursuit of the Portuguese midfielder is directly influenced by their potential qualification for the Champions League.
Calciomercato reports that with Silva’s departure from City confirmed, Juventus has re-entered the race. The Italian club has already engaged in discussions with his agent, Jorge Mendes. Club directors are reportedly prioritizing his acquisition at the specific request of manager Luciano Spalletti.
Silva is considered a prime transfer target, and Juventus is preparing a contract offer that could range from €7 million to €8 million per season. The proposed deal is expected to be for three years with an option for an additional season.
However, competition for the player is intensifying. Clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Barcelona have also expressed interest. Juventus is aware of these competing offers, with Galatasaray also being a potential suitor.
