Preview Colby Covington “Retired” According to UFC Website

Colby Covington, a former UFC welterweight title challenger with a professional record of 17 wins and 5 losses, is reportedly listed as “retired” on the UFC’s official website. This information was initially brought to light by the algorithmic X account, UFC Roster Tracker.

The 38-year-old fighter, known as “Chaos,” has not yet issued a public statement regarding his status. His last professional mixed martial arts appearance was in December 2024, where he suffered a loss to Joaquin Buckley.

Covington, a controversial personality in the MMA world, was once a prominent figure in the UFC, largely due to his outspoken and often provocative demeanor.

In recent months, Covington has participated in two non-UFC grappling matches. He secured victories against former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and grappling expert Dillon Danis under the Real American Freestyle Wrestling promotion. He is scheduled to face another former UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, in a similar grappling match at RAF 09 on May 30.
