Former heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury has definitively stated he has no intention of returning to the sport, addressing recent speculation about a potential comeback.
In a video shared on Instagram, Fury questioned the rationale behind a return, saying, “I hear a huge amount of talk about a possible return to boxing. But why should I do it? More belts? I have 22 of them, why do I need that? I was knocked off track, credit to whoever did it.”
He expressed contentment with his career and current status: “I am satisfied with my achievements, I have traveled the world and returned home. I am very pleased with the result and do not rush to return to where I will get hit.”
Fury reinforced his retirement decision, adding, “I have retired and remain retired. I have nothing to prove to people.”
It is worth noting that in the past year, Fury suffered two consecutive losses to Alexander Usyk. He had initially announced his retirement in January.
