Here are the complete results from the PFL 3 event, featuring Kasanganay vs. Edwards, which took place at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando on Friday night.
In the main event, former PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay made his return to the middleweight division (185 pounds). He looked to secure more championship hardware and a significant paycheck as he faced Fabian Edwards. Edwards, a two-time Bellator title challenger, was making his debut in the PFL tournament and aimed to make a strong impact.
In lightweight action, former UFC fighter Marc Diakiese squared off against the 2023 PFL lightweight champion Gadzhi Rabadanov. This fight was widely anticipated to produce fireworks. Rabadanov had a dominant run through the lightweight division the previous year, culminating in a spectacular knockout victory over Brent Primus in the season finals.
Holding an impressive 10-fight winning streak overall, Rabadanov sought to maintain his momentum as he faced Diakiese to kick off this year`s PFL lightweight tournament.
Please note that the scheduled bout between Robert Watley and Tony Caruso was canceled shortly before the event commenced.
