Preview Michael Chandler Trains with Theo Von Amidst McGregor Fight Speculation

Michael Chandler remains optimistic that his long-awaited UFC fight against Conor McGregor will finally happen, after years of anticipation for a bout with the Irish superstar.

In April at UFC 314, Michael Chandler experienced another tough defeat in the Octagon, suffering a third-round stoppage loss to Paddy Pimblett.

Before their Miami bout, the potential stakes increased as Conor McGregor expressed interest in fighting the winner and placed a $50,000 bet on Chandler winning by knockout.

Even after Chandler`s loss in Miami, Conor McGregor hinted that he is still interested in facing the high-octane fighter for a potential surprise UFC return.

Michael Chandler Trains with Theo Von Amidst Potential McGregor Fight

`The Notorious` has stated he would only return for a stadium fight, repeatedly expressing his wish to compete at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

UFC President Dana White is scheduled to hold the first-ever TKO Boxing event at Allegiant Stadium, which might influence his decision about hosting future UFC events there.

As discussions about a possible fight with Chandler persist, McGregor has been sharing training footage on social media.

Chandler, known for staying fit year-round, recently trained alongside popular comedian Theo Von.

Von is a genuine UFC enthusiast and has been seen at numerous events over the years, even earning fan praise for attending the preliminary fights.

This wasn`t the first time Von, a Louisiana native, has trained with Chandler. He previously commented, praising Chandler`s dedication: “Oh, Chandler’s great man. Chandler is one of the hardest working dudes I know. I go to the same gym as him. You can work out near him but you definitely feel like you don’t have the same blood as him.”

Conor McGregor Still Not in the UFC Drug Testing Pool

Despite the former two-division UFC champion continuing to tease his return to action, he has not yet registered a test session with the UFC Anti-Doping database.

Consequently, his comeback is delayed by a minimum of six months from the date he registers a test session.

Although he didn`t compete last year, McGregor was one of the most tested athletes, undergoing 11 test sessions prior to his planned return at UFC 303, which was ultimately cancelled.
