Jean Silva, Bryce Mitchell`s former rival, criticized his unusual training footage as both fighters prepare for their UFC comebacks.
Months have passed since their clash at UFC 314, but the bad blood between UFC featherweights Jean Silva and Bryce Mitchell continues to boil.
Silva defeated Mitchell by second-round submission at UFC 314 in Miami in a highlight-reel moment. Under the biggest spotlight of his young UFC career, Silva rose to the occasion, submitting Mitchell to earn a spot in the featherweight Top 15.
Mitchell is known as one of the UFC`s most unusual characters, for better or worse. As he prepares for his next UFC bout, he is going to bizarre lengths to ensure peak performance upon his return to the Octagon.

Bryce Mitchell Criticized by Former Rival After Posting Questionable Training Footage
Mitchell used one of his dead cattle as a heavy bag for training with one of his coaches on his farm in Arkansas. The footage drew mixed reviews from Mitchell`s fanbase, with some criticizing the featherweight for using a dead animal as training equipment.
Silva seized the opportunity to mock Mitchell on social media.
After Mitchell posted his unorthodox training footage to Instagram, his former foe quickly responded.
“Only this way can you hit someone!” Silva commented. “You`d better stay on the farm taking care of cattle, because things aren`t working out with athletes!”
In the lead-up to UFC 314, Mitchell accused Silva of using demonic means to affect his sleep before their fight. As of this writing, Mitchell has not responded to Silva`s social media comments.
Silva is quickly ascending towards a potential featherweight title shot after his significant win over Mitchell. Silva was briefly linked to a potential showdown with Alexander Volkanovski, after Volkanovski reclaimed the featherweight throne in the UFC 314 headliner.
Jean Silva Continues Mocking Bryce Mitchell After UFC 314
This is not the first time Silva has trolled Mitchell since their fight. Last month, after Mitchell posted a clip of him hitting a tree stump, Silva reminded Mitchell in the comments how their fight ended.
Silva could face a Top 10 contender in his next fight, which has not yet been announced. Mitchell`s next booking has also not been publicized as he looks to get back on track following the loss to Silva.
Before losing to Silva at UFC 314, Mitchell knocked out Kron Gracie with a brutal slam finish at UFC 310. He has traded wins and losses in his UFC career since his time on The Ultimate Fighter 27.
Silva and Mitchell continue to get on each other`s nerves months after their clash in the Octagon. As Mitchell continues to share his unusual training methods, Silva isn`t missing a chance to mock his former foe.
