Sources indicate that the Nerazzurri consider the young talent, currently owned by Atalanta, a primary transfer objective for the upcoming summer window.
However, securing Palestra presents a significant financial challenge, as Atalanta has reportedly set his valuation at more than €40 million. Inter’s strategy to finance this ambitious transfer hinges on the potential sale of Luis Henrique. The club anticipates that offloading the Brazilian for approximately €25 million would generate the funds required to meet Atalanta’s hefty asking price. A previous attempt by Bournemouth to acquire Henrique in January was unsuccessful.
Furthermore, negotiations between Inter and Atalanta are anticipated to be complicated, partly due to the strained relations following Inter’s failed attempt to sign Ademola Lookman in prior transfer windows, which led to a cautious approach from both sides.
