Despite ongoing frustrations among some fans regarding his lack of activity, many supporters still turned out to meet Jon Jones during a recent venture outside of fighting. While some believe it`s time for the UFC heavyweight champion to be stripped of his title, a strong base of fans continues to defend `Bones`.
Based on his recent social media activity, Jones doesn`t appear to be entering a fight camp anytime soon, instead seemingly enjoying time away from the sport. He even acknowledged the common criticism of `doing everything but fighting` following the announcement of one of his latest endeavors.
In a recent post, the fighter widely considered the greatest of all time offered praise for a fellow UFC champion, a noticeable departure from his previous antagonistic remarks towards Tom Aspinall.

Jon Jones Hosts Popular Seminar and Playfully Mocks Petition
During Jon Jones` recent trip to Thailand, it was announced that the UFC heavyweight champion would be hosting a seminar at the world-renowned Bangtao gym in Phuket. The event was promoted by Bangtao as an opportunity to meet Jones in person and learn `techniques that made him one of the GOATS`.
Referred to as the biggest seminar in the gym`s history, the event saw significant attendance, which is unsurprising given the rare chance to learn from a fighter of `Bones“ caliber.
Jones reflected on the experience in a social media post shortly after the seminar concluded. The 37-year-old specifically mentioned the large number of participants who had traveled from the UK, playfully thanking Tom Aspinall for the indirect promotion he`s seemingly provided.
Although he sincerely thanked everyone who attended and trained with him, `Bones` quickly returned to joking about the ongoing heavyweight narrative. He even encouraged fans to sign the petition aimed at stripping him of his title, highlighting the considerable attention it has received.
Tom Aspinall Joins in the Banter Regarding Jon Jones` Thailand Activities
Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall was recently seen spending time with Craig Jones, a prominent figure known for his personality in combat sports. It was perhaps inevitable that the elite grappler would make references to Jon Jones while in the company of the interim champion.
In an Instagram video posted by Craig Jones, he humorously referenced a viral video of Jon Jones in Thailand, where he was seen riding on the back of a bike and grabbing the driver`s hair. Aspinall featured in the skit, attempting to go about his day before his own bike ride was comically interrupted.
Jon Jones later responded to the video by commenting “rent free” beneath the post.
