Turkish football giant Fenerbahce has begun negotiations with Juventus for striker Lois Openda, as they aim to bolster their offensive capabilities.
Reports, including those from Mirko Di Natale, indicate that preliminary discussions have taken place to ascertain the viability and parameters of a potential transfer during the current summer window.
The Belgian international is currently considered peripheral to Juventus’s plans in Turin. Having struggled to secure consistent playing time, the club’s management is now prepared to assess any concrete proposals received for the forward.
Interest in Openda is not confined to Turkey; several clubs from Saudi Arabia have also made inquiries to explore the possibility of a deal.
The situation remains dynamic as the transfer market approaches its final stages. It is yet to be seen whether previous admirers such as Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Lens will re-enter the competition for his signature.
These three clubs have historically monitored the 26-year-old’s development and could present alternative avenues should negotiations with Fenerbahce not culminate in a swift agreement.
